My photographic journey began when mum bought me a polaroid camera when I was 10 years old. For me photography is about telling a story, whether it's a beautiful landscape or the beauty in you.
I live on the Northern Beaches in Sydney with my wife and two children. They're my angels - naughty angels actually but the good kind of naughty - and they are the love of my life.
I also produce and present a weekly radio show for a community station which is all about my two obsessions in music - classical and jazz - and I've been getting away with it since 2012.
I was incredibly honoured to become a finalist in, Wikimedia Loves Monuments Picture of the Year 2017, with my photo of the Sydney Opera House.
I love the challenge of creating a photo, whether in nature or city scapes, that I hope can approach the sense of wonder that one feels when they are witness to the amazing places our beautiful world can offer. I also love to capture the true essence of a person in my portrait photography.
